As per the latest updates available, Amrinder Singh Raja Waringh of Congress has won from this seat with a margin of 1349 votes and is elected as the new MLA of Gidderbaha. Hardeep Singh 'Dimpy' Dhillon of SAD has lost the elections and secured the second place.
In 2017, Amrinder Singh Raja Waringh was elected as MLA from this seat. He/she is associated with Congress and won the elections with a margin of 16212 votes. Hardeep Singh 'Dimpy' Dhillon of SAD was at the second place.
