As per the latest updates available, Gurdit Singh Sekhon of AAP has won from this seat with a margin of 16797 votes and is elected as the new MLA of Faridkot. Parambans Singh 'Bunty Romana' of SAD has lost the elections and secured the second place.
In 2017, Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon was elected as MLA from this seat. He/she is associated with Congress and won the elections with a margin of 11659 votes.
