As of March 2019, Santokh Singh Chaudhary of Congress is the current MP of Jalandhar lok sabha seat. He won from this seat during the last general elections held in April-May 2014. He got total 380479 votes and won by a margin of 70981 votes. Pawan Kumar Tinu of SAD was at the second place and got 309498 votes.
